Speaking of serendipity do da, check out How Magazine’s last page article about fighting aids in Africa with sexual abstinence, and the facing page entitled “passion”. Tell me the editor just didn’t see it.

I know! Right? I saw that, and thought the same thing!

It borders on artistic licence, and tabloid journo to me. How Magazine has become a bunch of writing about writing about design. Plus much of the design shown is dated, and featured in other mags. I want more hands on, and cutting edge design innovation. Just a little ho-hum for me. Step-By-Step (now Step) used to be good, and so was CMYK, but they all seem to lose their luster. Print still has some class, although academic at times. I really like Metropolis although it is a tad ad heavy/commercial.

Preach it un, those rags are so sold out. (Only kidding if you want to publish my work in a design annual!)
